OK guys, I've pulled down the fuse panel, removed the side vent and unscrewed the panel that hides the splits but it doesn't want to budge. I don't want to use too much force, am I doing this right? It seems very solidly in place!! :bang:

Does anybody know the exact sizing of the standard rim that comes with the VZ commo ute? I got some mags and I'm sellin em on ebay. Obviously i know that they're 15" with a 205 tyre on them but some bozo doesn't know what 205 is, he want to know if they're 15X7's? Thanks guys

Has anybody ever swapped stock springs with SS springs? Does it make the camber out or put undue wear on tyres etc? I have a stock VZ ute and a pair of SS springs i'd like to put in them and I'm interested to know if anyone has done the same thing or knows about it. Cheers :king:

Has anyone put SS springs into a sotkc commo? I'm doing it today to my VZ ute. Just wondering how it turned out and if you kept the original shocks, had any camber problems etc? Was it just a straight out, easy conversion? Cheers

How hard it it to change the springs? Fairly easy as long as you have one of those clamps? Also does anyone know if i will be able to put SS springs into a stock ute without changing camber, shockers etc.

G'day, I just got a set of VZ SS springs off ebay and when they rock up they have a barcode on them. The barcode's have a number and then "EL" on the front and "HK" on the rear set. Are these proper Holden springs or have i been ripped and sold a set for an old HK and a ford EL? Not very...

VZ Ute Rust Well, it turns out the only rust was on the brackets that fit the hardtop to the ute (Big white ones, not the hinges). These brackets are the joining point between the side of the top and the hardtop itself. The rust had rubbed off these onto the back of the cab. Still a bit of a...

I bet my balls these guys are right. it is the master cylinder. Always be careful what you pick up from the wreckers too, you don't wanna end up with **** brakes at a critical time. Buy a new one!

I have a VZ Ute that I just put a set of 18' mags on (I had stock wheels previously). All of a sudden, according to my computer the fuel consumption has from from 7.9 litres/100km to 10!! Can anybody shed some light? The other strange thing is that my speedo has stayed dead accurate.
