try yr crank angle sensor afm all electrics fuel pump plugs leads etc etc most vl/t have crank angle sensor, afm and throttle switch thing as regular faults.

i currently have 18's 225/40 on my vlt... went to buy 19's today and they said they said, anything wider than 8inch wide im going to have problems? have anyone had problems with fitting larger mags? i currently have stuff for sale too vn vn with vx kit vlt. pm if interested..

i wanna know if i can fit a rb25det/r33 box to my vlt? atm i do not like the gearing on my vlt as 1st is tooo short, and 3rd is too long. but i dont wanna change diff gears as im happy with them. what boxes can bolt straight up to the rb30et? and costs involved.

errr.... i weighed my car on a 2 weigh bridges.. and they both came up on 1650. mine has a kit, 19's saas seats, etc etc etc.:S my vlt weighed at 1500. how did u get yr car so light?

i have a leak too in my vlt. it leaks on the top weld just under where u fill the tank. i was chasing a drop tank for it....

i got it working... :) and not by hitting my boot lol

it is fun.. the look on people's faces when im going 60-70km/h in second gear wheel spinning past to 90km/h is awesome.

hell yeah! one of the powerful cars i have own. first revs out quick, second it skids all the way, hit third and still skids for abit then pick up traction... i can actually feel it the car twist (a lil bit) as u see the left front pick up. the bov sounds excellent too.. not a "tssshh"...

broke latch the other day.. only have the cable... i yanked the cable however it wont open..:( anyway i can release it?

i fixed the problem... i went and bought myself a 5speed vl turbo with a T03/04 turbo.. much more fun...

last night... 1st gear slips, till it hits 2nd... then it moves but then at higher revs it slips again.... in 4th it shakes the whole car. gearbox has had it :( time for a new car. been thinking of a na vl 5speed.. i dont really wanna spend too much on the vn nemore fixing it....

whole car vibrates... u can feel it in the pedals, steering wheel etc. u can hear the throbbing vibrating sound under passsenger n drivers seat. :S

probaly run a bit rich...

i know what u mean bout the vibrations... but its a new abnormal vibration...

ohok. nah i dont have that problem either.. however i hate my 19's. over them. putting my 17's back on as they handle much better.

i have 2 vn's. both auto my stockish vn.... slips. when i floor it... whole car shakes... stand still take off turning at a intersection it slips bad (slips for approx 5sec).. while driving around a corner... it drops a gear and revs out going no where my modified vn.... fitted with...

i got king springs in my car... 245/35 19's and my guards are not rolled... :S

soooo many arguements in cai vs pod... *shakes head. so much talk from these types of thread. this is what i experienced i have had both pod and a vs cai kit.. cai is ****.. lack of flow seem it was sufficated had a pod.. good response up high. didnt suck much hot air as it was...

that has happen to my vn too. it leaks. but i just kept refilling it. anyway after time the fluid eats away the wires near, just under pump. and has sparked a few times.... making short circuts sounds.... then one day it lite up. lucky i have a extinguser handy from my previous nos set up...

my car now does that.... did oil change and it started making tapping sounds. so i did another oil change with diff brand of oil and lifter juice and it still does it.. starting to get worse now. also fuel economy has dropped.. from 450-470 a tank to 330-350 a tank.

rb series are easy to get hold of.. the 1jz/2jz were on the cards if availabilty comes. but price is another thing im looking in. cos my car needs a change..

will look into the rb and 2jz. not keen on the 1 jz or the rotor. rotor can be crazy... but tend not to last that long..

are u after something cheap with lil boost? or u something a bit serious with some killer power? capa are well known... and raptor kits are coming out with good results

very true. the wheel makes so much different. i had 15's on b4. got used to it... then got 17's... got used to it... got 19's... now selling my 19's for 1000 so i can get 20's

its an arguable debate.. they same eco would be faster cos of high power output and they are more revvy but the pre eco's seem more torquer than the vs. the eco's have weaker pistons too. id only get a brand new eco from a crate if i was gonna do that.. i have driven a few eco's from vs-vy...

rb20det's are ok. i used to have one im my 180sx. it was kinda sweet. s15 front end, fluro green paint job with black roof n bonnent, graphics, nearly indentical to fast n furious1. just not a mitsubishi eclipse. rb20det's r a bit more revvy than the rb25det's. im after a new car or new...

has anyone fitted a rb25det to their commodores? if so what can it bolt straight on? or use the k-frame etc? i have seen it done b4.. however cant remember what magazine it was.

you for real? my vn..... while in 1st gear going 40km/h and if i plant it it spins till i hit second.. and thats with 245/35r19's on em. in the wet, straight line or around corners etc if i put it in 1st, standing start or rolling, it will spin till speedo hits 220 and smokes. and my car isnt...

yeh of course. had a custom tune with chiptorque. but that has nothing to do with cannons mufflers lol

tried it.. and didnt work.. i just wanna change gearknobs for cosmetic purposes only
