i took line off, added extra 2 litres of fluid, then started the motor. drained about 2 litres and repeated. i put 8 litres through her to be sure 2 be sure. should i check the solenoid resistances before pulling pan? thanks again mate.

I did give it a good flush when I changed the filter, ran 8ltrs through and fluid is now pristine, no signs of milkshake. The flush would have cycled through converter also? Maybe small blockage in cooling lines? Had lots of pressure when I took line off when flushing though. I reckon if I do...

hey chief, thats some good advice. much appreciated. i run an MSD 6al, the coil came with quite a long lead to the dizzy, thats what made me think of moving it. if a increased the + feed wire to the coil will it be better? thanks again mate.

is there advantages to keeping your coil cool? eg- mounting it seperate from the engine, i run an oil filled coil so heat will effect it, yeah?

gear drives r fine, tho backlash must be set by means of a dial indicator. iv`e fitted straight cuts to every V8 Holden iv`e owned, also i have found that Peter Jacksons hav a distinctive whine to them. Procomps sound more rattley, for sure.
