I figured it out.

I need to "unclip" the top edge (directly under the rear window) of my VE ute. I have searched for a video and also here but no luck. I'm guessing it uses clips like most other interior parts but am afraid to tug at it, fearing the upper trim will break. Anyone done this?

That's exactly what I expected to see. My passenger seat (left) has a lever on each rear corner. And my driver's has only one lever on the outer rear. I know these seats are from a VE but don't know the year or variant.

I got it with this bar so I don't know the history. But since the only bars that exist here are the G8 and GXP bars, I'm assuming sections were grafted from most likely the G8 which is far more common. The lower reflectors are the same as the G8 and fifth gen Camaro.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, not exactly what I was asking so I'll rephrase. Correct me if I'm wrong: On a sedan, a VF sedan rear bar will fit a VE sedan if the quarter panels are replaced. On a ute, a VF ute rear bar will fit a VE ute with no modifications. Are these statements true? Thanks.

Thanks for that. I have a Holden brochure that shows the sedan, sportwagon and ute, all with the Pontiac nose. A friend of mine who owns a G8 said he saw an article years ago that Holden was planning on exporting all three to the states (with the Pontiac nose).... until Pontiac was closed...

Was the wagon (VE or VF) ever exported? If yes, also curious if any were built LHD for export and re-badged like the Pontiac G8. Thanks.

If the same, no issue getting the specs. Just look it up as a G8 and good to go. I would just like to have some verification and no one here would know.

Gentlemen, Vehicle in question is a 2010 VE Commodore. Does anyone know if the alignment specs for the coupe, wagon and ute the same? Also the Maloo. I'm needing an alignment and any shop I go to will only have specs for a 2008 - 09 G8, so I really need to know. Thanks.
