Since I've had it it was running, First two changes was holden dealer, so Fuchs or what ever else they use. Next machanic used castrol edge. Supercar oil or something... Since then ive used been using hpr5. With filters changed each change. Ive done 12000,klm since ive had it so 4now 5 oil...

Who sead i put in 7lt . Just saying rep have had 7lts for $49. Better value than 2 X 5lts at $#@ each, or the 10lts =$#@" So got 2 .... Yep fill filter and fill around 7.6 .... Not like the stupid Holden tecs who don't look at the tag and over fill it 1.5" lts yep Brian gardener...

Tryed the nulon. Drove for one day. Dumped the **** out as it turned oil black and made dock rattle and, like it kept goin inout of afm at 60. Dumped oil and filter fitted original filter and new hpr5 , and its back to start up and a small amount of lifter tick.... Time for exaust and...

Cheers yer ive got it from there site. And some machanics over here say hpr10 to use. As o i gess its just try what works for each different motor.

Ok. Thort may be hpr10 might be better as it gets up to 40c around here in summer, thort the 10 might quite down the lifters at start up.. Repco has 7lts of hpr5 or hpr10 for half price $49.00 for 7lts

Ok ve ssv v8 l76. Has penrite hpr in it. What hpr is better being in hot summer h, Penrite pr5 OR Penrite hpr10. ... Cheers...

Cheers guys. Yer it seems to come and go. Ill try the nulon. And also just keep a ear out... I did have it booked in next January for dod but blood cash was going on a exhaust system. But i might just hold off a while... If it quite it down... I see just about all the L76 L77 , rattle...

Also to add , left it at tuner for day so thay could do cold start and see. The day he had it it started with no extra lifter sounds....

Think ill leave it and just go get full exhaust... To much bullshit listening to the different things from different shops. One says cam one says dont cam one says do this do that. But not one shop would listen to the motor to see if it was normal sounds or not... To old for young guys that...

Cheers for the info. The shop reckons it does not need hi stall for that cam . But lookin at the number re can looks like fuel economy drops right off.. What cam are others running auto. Or all neading hi stall fitting . 5 shops so far and all say a different thing or just flip...
