10w 60 is very thick for the engine, the right one should be 10w 40, no matter how high your engine mileage.- Lumina_06

For the car that you have 225k mileage the oil that you are using 40w 70 is to thick that's why you have some vale lifter noise because the flow of oil is thicker, you should follow the specified from you Manual's The oil to be used, for me even I have 300k mileage now still I'm using 10w 40 and...- Lumina_06
