Hey guys, I'm pretty keen on upgrading my single lcd dash in my SV6 to the triple "luxury" lcd dash found in the Lumina/Berlina/Calais. Wondering if any of you guys have had it done? If so how much, where'd you get it done and how have you found it? Cheers! :thumbsup:

You are absolutely correct! It is the black surrond that causes the problem. Maybe some sort of material that'll absorb the light rather than reflect it should solve the problem.

Brasstard, I have a 09/05 build SV6 too and it also doesnt have the "Alloytec 190" badging. Only the Calais gets it now I think. From what I've seen/been told this happened somewhere between Feb/Jul 05 with the 05 Upgrade to all SV6's. If you look at the pics of SV6's on the holden...

yeh i was about to suggest the same. first time i had my car in PWR mode I thought it felt weird but thats just the way it works.

vz sv6 here too. yeh sure do see a lotta vt/x/y's on the road

yeh on carpoint.com.au they have an article from wheels mag (May 05) where they compare xr6 vs sv6. pretty close and at the time they thought the gearbox was awesome (how things have changed since the bf update). so do a search there.

Holden might just call it "06 Update" like the 05 update we had this year. But then again they do need sales to keep up until the arrival of the mighty VE!

I picked up my Impulse Blue SV6 this arvo! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet :) yeh stew7700 is right about the 05 feb update :) As of Jan 1 you'll see all VZ commies being Euro III compliant.

Yeh Turismo is a great lookin colour. :thumbsup: I've only seen a couple of the road and if it got my attention I'm sure others will take a good look! Cant wait to get my SV6!!!! I'll be goin Impulse Blue tho :D
