We tried to change the speakers in my wifes Acadia but the stereo went into meltdown and we had to take the new ones out and put the factory speakers back in. I think it had something to do with the active noise cancellation.

Thinking you may be right. I'm reluctant to do the exhaust as I don't think the tend to sound all that magnificent. In my opion.

My attachment to my car is that I built it in 2016 at Elizabeth manufacturing plant and all of my workmates signed the floor under the rear seat. It is a car that I will struggle to get rid of after working at Holden for over 20 years. Also, where am I going to get a manual sedan these days?

Thanks. I'm pretty sure I've gone off this idea already! I had a turbo BA Falcon many years ago. Gained 17rwkw by removing 1 muffler box! I guess I was kind of hoping the 3.6 might have been a bit easier to modify than it actually will be. Cheers again.

Totally agree with you. Should have named it something else but the car itself is a good car. You just need to be able to separate the car from the name.
