thanks all and yes always read the codes but as it happened when i vertially started a 2500 ks road trip i didn't have my scan tool with me,and found same cylinder was tripping code and pulled the plugs and found that plug was tracking bad and due to change,thus done and no drummers now,again...

cleared code and ran fine for 2 days then started again ,same code came up.so i took that coil out and plug ,the plug had traking marks on the porslum and the tip was cracked,also plugs were stuffed so i changed the plugs today and at this stage running smooth,see what happens in next few days
