It’s a HSV Manta with a tow kit. So has the tow bar and ball.the paint job comes with all new plastics on everything, new rear passenger windows because apparently the rubber strip on that triangle window Is attached to it and it’s gonna stand out like dog balls once it’s painted. ******* off...

Other thing is I have lost the ability to run the trans cooler Through the radiator with this new one. Is an external tranny cooler gonna be enough.

Yeah I rang them up. Old mate reckons they don’t do them because there all high performance gear. so I’ll just Get some new hoses made up and run it straight from the tranny to the independent tranny cooler then? Will that be sufficientfor cooling the tranny? It’s not very big lol

Link is in maintenance apparently. I have a 5L so I just have the mace engineering box with KN pod filter in it. I did drill another hole in the box though and trimmed up the HSV intake to feed straight into it

I picked up a bonnet that is ready to be painted but missing the flutes for 600 and got a new set of flutes from GM for 500. Another months time and the bonnet is going on then the VT is getting painted Can’t wait. Then the stroker kit

Changed out the lights on the VT just need to wire up the passenger reverse light and find a blue or black vx garnish.

gonna be painting the VT black on black and came across angel eye headlights black backed, thought DAAAAAAM they would look good.... all threads ive come across are ancient and from what I have read they were a real pain in the ass or not worth buying just wondering if anyone has installed...

this was handy as. but you forgot to mention the super easy bolt that's under the car but above the drive shaft that's above 2 exhaust pipes. that was a 40 minute bolt lol..... not a fun job, thumbs up for the post though
