Hey Guys, Sorry if this in the wrong area, but I was wondering if there was any updates on the headunit situation. At the moment there is only the alpine unit which looks the best. Does anyone know if there will be more units in the future. Would another mylink unit with CarPlay work? Cheers

I am not too worried about the fancy features of the car (maps, hud etc). I think the wagon would be best by the sounds of things, considering the room in the back even when the seats are up. I didn’t really like the lowest model with the 3.0 ltr but I think the sv6 is the best suited.

Yea probably not unfortunately. What do you rate the mylink (stock) headunit then?

I already have a 8019s Kenwood Unit that i could use which is 7 inches which has the features like car play. As that’s what I was mainly after.

Thanks for your help. The wagon sounds pretty good and would be pretty good as an all rounder. Whats the features like on the Wagon? As in how often do you use them ? (Auto park, auto start etc). Also have you kept the stock Headunit or replaced it? (If so with what?) Cheers

I think that both look just as good, but I really like the features/advancements on the new wagons for easier driving (For example Auto Parking, Lane keep assist, remote start etc). The sedan is also about 2-3k cheaper as well which is a little unfortunate but the wagons as an all rounder are...

Looks like a great car! That fuel consumption isn't very bad at all for a commodore then! Have you tried 91 or 95? Also does your model feature the remote start (From they keyfob) - is it useful?). Thanks
