    Yes I did that on all the ebay coils (4 pin) all coils gave the same results - O ohm on 2 pins, infinity on another two and about 12,000 on another two pins, including the coil that gave the intermittent misfire.

    As I said in reply 21, my VZ V6 was doing similar things. Yesdy I fitted a new oil pressure sensor, which seems to have fixed it. When I removed the harness plug from the sensor it was a bit oily - obviously beginning to leak.

    Oil pressure showed 217kpa - was that hot or cold, idling or at revs? I have a similar issue on my V6 and am about to make an adapter to fit a test gauge to get actually readings before l pull anything apart.

    My VZ V6 does the same thing SVS and Check Oil Level and has done so on and off for a year - happens about 8-10 min after starting and disappear after a few seconds. Nothing to reset! OP sensor replacement made no change. It happens most days but not every day.

    I did some more thorough checking of vac connections today and found this: One of the 2 PCV lines into the manifold. If replacement has solved the problem I'll take back all the tasty stuff I thought about you blokes who said vacuum leak. :p I'll let youz know in a week. :)

    Can't you use a drill bit from the opposite end to remove it and push out? Then flush and blow out.

    Hmmm. Ryco show a Z586 in-line which I replace periodically and a Z1148 in-tank fuel filter for my car. Repco show a complete pump assembly FPE417. I'll probly just that when I can work meself up to dropping the tank.
