I got one in the vz because it has 3.9's (come with the ute), its plugged into the lighter socket and works really well.. only thing is if i get on the pedal and give it abit it has bit of lag to catch up..

I would say rough cost of $5500-$7500, I'm doing a 304 to 383 with the 5L block, LS as far as I know has more clearance for the crank so cost maybe a bit lower

Its actually very common and most people don't realise that the extra keys they have on their key ring is the cause of this.. too many keys means extra weight on that one key and after continuous use the key gets worn down and hence why you have difficulty starting the vehicle.
