the only thing i can suggest, is changing the ratio gear. dunno if this will help as this varies from car to car. :)

im 100% sure that i got the wiring correct for my headunit. wat is the voltage of the starter motor when cranking the engine?

with the head unit, it would flash till i get enough power in the car. then it'll stop. and yeh it has been a little better with the starter motor. its not new though, got it from the wreckers. (which may have been a bad thing)

is there a way to find out exactly on how to isolate the circuit?

first of all apologies about the late reply i have installed the emtech gauges. hooked it up via the power wire from the cig lighter. the lights stay on but its not so much of a big deal during the day. will post pics soon. any questions just holler!

the 12v is to illuminate the gauges via the transformer. im pretty sure the parker light would have a grounding wire? i could just link it from there. i think?
