From what I heard they did not come factory but a dealer option on the 5 speed. I had one in my old VS Senator 5 speed and it was exactly the same as every other VS cruise.

It's from a VX GTS Sedan. Not sure though if the trims are different to a VT 1 GTS...

I picked my old VS Senator over a VS SS because it had a sunroof, full leather trim with front sports seats, climate control, Berlina spec features, better suspension/wheels, and a lot of other extras. Oh and it's a HSV Senator.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but for an LS1 to run 12s, I would have thought 5k or less would do it. How reliable and driveable would that be compared to a cam only LS1, or in minux's case a Senator running similar if not, less numbers?

I doubt an absolutely stock standard VS Berlina, even with mini spool, would kick out when you were hardly accelerating. There might have been an oil patch or some other discrepancy on that part of the road.

GTX 2 gets my vote. Used it in the Senator every 5000 kms and it never used oil.
