Can anyone help me put with an xdf for my VP bin? The xdf's ive been able to download give odd readings, like 88 degree spoark advances n stuff...i noticed b4 someone said that VP's use the $5D.xdf? I downloaded this..i think... O yeah i bought an APU1. Thanks guys.

I know that not dialing in a cam after doing those sort of mods can cause a bit of hastle. But im pretty sure that the reason you've got no power is that your cam is way to big. Im maxing out a buick V6 myself, its N/A, race pistons...porting.... and the cam i have chosen is 216 @50 thou, now...

yeah man can be done quite easily if both engines are removed from the cars. Depending on how hard you rekon that is, the engine removal would be the hardest part... Taking the motor out is easy...pull everything connecting the car to the motor off. Its finding where it all goes back on that is...

When converting a car to LPG a new tune is required because it is different fuel. Now when running dual fuel there is has to be a compromise, its either tuned to run alright on both fuels, or better on one rather than the other. My guess would be that whoever has done your LPG conversion tuned...

hey spanners as far as i can tell, the only diff between the APU-1 n the ostrich is that the APU-1 connects directly to the eprom and the ostrich still runs off the ALDL? Is that true? or are there other differences?

isnt there a certain ratio of air and fuel our computer works out? if you put more air into the engine, the computer automatically puts more fuel in to compensate for the extra air? so how do we get better fuel economy??

My VP takes about 3-4 seconds to kick into drive, wen the gear kicks in, IT KICKS IN!! the car jumps forward, especially when i forget about the prob and rev the car a bit. I changed the oil and put that addative in, but still kicks??

My dads told me that because my car idles too high the pressure in the gearbox is to high? thats why it takes so long to kick in. If i cant adjust the idle wat can i do?
