Yep, the clutch was the only real drama with these, especially when trying to push more power through them than stock. Some L98's had leaking sumps but this was minor mine still weeps abit but nothing worth worring about (no drips on garage floor). Cheers.

I know a bloke that tried this on a 6l vz, got it to start without pressing the clutch, but would sit on the rev limiter if he clutched it with the cruise on. I carn't see the problem with it, i've always had manuals and have always press the clutch in before startup force of habit i suppose...

I think holden were replacing the clutch and pedal box putting the ls7 clutch in but MY9.5 onwards had the ls7 clutch from factory mine falls into this category and it sometimes does what veessv is saying so haven't bothered chasing it up I'll put a good h/d clutch in one day!

Been a bit slack on updates:hmmm:, VZ split engine covers relocated heater hoses (used VK V8 ones!) 3.7 diff went in, then did cam and springs made 340rwkw, jhp gauges (red to suit the cluster) to get rid of the "atari" ones. Next will be the clutch i reckon, might not like abit of 1/8th mile fun!

I used mainlube gear oil in the gearbox and diff, is expensive but so are 6 speed manual box's.

Guess what mate, your wrong and stonex is right. Done this myself on my wagon (09 model manual) went from 3.45 to 3.7 did complete swap out of diff did work myself and speedo still 2km/h fast as it was with old diff ve's have wheel sensors i'm told

Yep i used VK V8 ones. They have right angle bends to go on the engine and there cheap. I'm not a big fan of their spring loaded hose clamps either, so i used normal ones on the firewall as one of them didn't feel right. I can post pic's if you want. Cheers. BTW how's the gas going?

Mine did it too and i reckon it was iceing up the evapator because we'd turn it off for a bit and turn it back on and away it went again. Only happend on long drives/hot days etc. Holden agreed this could be the issue, and i think they fitted a new pressure switch and seems to be all good now...

Has anyone fitted one of these ebay jobbies to a wagon yet? I'm not sure if the cable will be long enough for the wagon because the cable would have to go up to the top of the tailgate then drop down to the numberplate. Mr nismo is yours the same kit fitted to your wagon? Cheers.
