    Gauges???

It can be done for sure mate, you actually need the section behind the surrond, the section that wraps around the centre console. With some careful measuring and placement it would look sweet. I might actually have a photo of it done in a Calais. Basicly I used a hole saw slightly smaller...

Can you post a picture mate of the surrond? Or email it to me instead to [email protected] and I will help you out bud.

    Gauges???

I have had several police look at the location of the gauges and all have said that it was a good place to put them as they do not cover anything or reduce vision. Also ensure you use electrical gauges and not mechanical and you will be fine police wise.

    Gauges???

Mine were there for form and function, they look ****??? Glad I installed them for you mate. I had a turbo fitted to my car and needed those gauges so I knew what was happening etc to ensure everything was working correct. Also there are many cars that would do well to have a few gauges...

    VZ SS Diagnostic Mode

Yep that did it. Now next question. Is there anyway to have some of those read outs available on the normal display, things like inst fuel and water temp etc?

How do you enter it? Done a bit of a search and could only find out about VY or before.

I can tell you first hand this is an awesome car, bulk load of grunt and easily turns the tyres. The photos dont do the paint justice, looking good Rob.

    Confirmed- SV6 to be Chargd

Should have clarified that I would recommend a positive displacement blower like whipple or the roots style as I was more just making a general recommendation than a direct plug for roots blowers. Having had turbos and been in many forms of S/C cars I have found the positive displacement...

    Confirmed- SV6 to be Chargd

I agress there, but still think a roots blower, if you can find one for the SV6 would be ultimatly the way to go. Nothing like instant boost!!!

    Confirmed- SV6 to be Chargd

He lives in SA so really means nothing to be honest. The bottom line is its an SV6, he is sticking with it so would be good to help him out with that, not tell him what he should have done or bought, this doesnt achieve anything.

    Confirmed- SV6 to be Chargd

No a VX C4B can not be registered in to a VZ due to emissions regulations and the motor being older than the body. Nothing wrong with the alloytec at all ethier. Quad cam V6 is certainly a very tidy motor and the Americans are running some great numbers with them at the moment. Plus V8's...

    Confirmed- SV6 to be Chargd

I was unware that you had to remove the A/C pump with the turbo kit, that would not be the best thing in the world in the current weather.

    Confirmed- SV6 to be Chargd

http://www.magicperformance.com.au/ I have never been a personal fan of centri S/C and say again it is only MY opinion. The entry level ones are okay but dont make a great deal of power and once you start uping this they become very loud, no worse then glimer drive but loud non the less...

Mine does the same, had it checked they said it is fine. Alot of others I have been in have the same so must be soft engine mounts or something along those lines I guess.

Correct, some people have differing opinions, not many but honestly it is not worth the hassel and potentional deterioration of the headers mate.

    Exhaust Wrapping

It is not a good idea to wrap standard or off the shelf headers as they tend to break down after time. The reason imports and such do it is because the material used is much thicker and stronger and retaining heat is benifical in a turbo setup where as normal N/A headers are not made of as...
