compare the resistance between the coils . 152k worth of km means bugger all if she hasnt been looked after. ive pulled apart both a 400k plus engine and found it to be nicer internally than a 200k engine. did u do any other mods before u came across this problem?

its just a press in seal. remove the balancer, tap an edge in without damaging the bore pry it out. clean the bore in the timing cover, put light gak on the outside of the new seal. put it on square and tap it on using sum pipe. sorry i couldnt describe it better im just thrashed

u can get this two pronged wedge used for removing ball joints

or get a hack saw and cut the metal part of the old bush length ways and tap in the edges with a chisel. she should come out then

put a jack under the hub and put sumthing softer than steel ie ally or bronze and hit the ball joint with a hammer on the thread with the soft metal inbetween

you would be surprised but alternator shafts bend from time to time

nice looking engine u have there. if u have a mirror on a stick check the wearing on the cas with the back fins as there shouldnt be any wear(shouldnt be with the vs as its isnt adjustable). sounds like harmonic balancer to me . get both the balancer and the cas changed at the same time.
