found the problem today...YAY....finally it's fixed! replaced the ECU....helped for 5 mins.....then the dreaded light came back. replaced the coil pack and dreaded series 1 DFI module, with a VT one......everything is now ok.....working beautifly! in fact i think i have more power now...

ok i replaced the water temp sensor today, reset the ECU and still the engine light is on! (what a nightmare of a job on the s1 motor) diagnostic mode still shows up error 12. can the car be satefy started while in diagnostic mode or am i only meant to read the codes with the ignition on?

i'd hate to upset you guys, but i have run 60mm, 65mm and 70mm Throttle bodys on the dyno run after run and it makes no difference to the power at all!!!!!! No gains, no losses, well the only loss is vacumn pressure.

it will be the harmonic balancer, mine balancer looked fine as well, and it kept throwing the belt, expect to pay about $300.

umm, those chargers blow up at 10psi! don't use more than about 6psi, if you want the charger to last.

i'd actually like to go the eaton way as well, as the eaton m90 is quite the decent charger, but i have never been able to find a manifold that suits the conversion though.

Don't know much about the VT, but surely Holden have a CAI Kit for the VT maybe a supercharged 6 CAI setup, im using a supercharged VS one on my VN. Stay away from the SS Reductions setup, unless you want to lose performance and throw your money away at the same time!

u dont and cant enter a 9. its normally a 4 digit number which only goes to six. Eg 1256, 6451 etc

my powerchip 98 is for sale, will suit a VN V6 Auto, but to be honest i don't know how it will react with gas. Should be ok but to be safe maybe you could email powerchip and ask them if their chips are suitable for dual fuel.
