I have VZ SS 17" rims

Mine always sits just under 2nd bar normal driving. If I hold the gears out longer in between shifts (4-5Krpm), the temp gauge reaches 2nd bar. I've never seen it go any higher than 2nd bar..

When the engine is cold the pressure is higher. Same as when you rev the engine.

oh interesting, thanks for posting that up. I reckon the complete fuse box setup should have been fixed too. Mine completely melted, lucky it didn't catch fire.

Autometer products are like that when they are not in use. It's normal.

I chose VL cuz: - front end looks - sleek styling (not fat and chubby like the VN) - looks fully sick when dumped - it came in 5 speed manual (I would never have bought a VL if I had to get auto) - reasonably cheap, easy to get parts and service

to answer your question, the VL is a Holden, regardless of what engine it has, as we are talking about the car as a whole, not just the engine. it would be silly to class a VL as a Nissan, how stupid.

ya don't need all those things, all ya need is a 5spd manual with power steering, stock worn tyres and a slighty wet road. My SL can do it. oh yer and get full comp insurance while you're at it :D
