Had one of these on my ss & the so & so's that tried to steal it had no probs getting it off. Thanks to the alarm I still have the beast. Your call but dont know if i'd waste my time looking for 1. MAke sure you have a good alarm with immobiliser etc & you'll be set.

I have just on 12 volts at lights, So upgrade wiring is the go, I think? All else checks out etc

Mine are all good, they are basically new. Reflectors look perfect & glass clean as. Maybe need to go to 90/100 lamps. But have been told these are too much for the reflector etc to handle. Is it true? or is it just wiring needs to be upgraded to handle the extra load? Scott

Thanks will check voltage at lights also. Even with the bluish lights still not illuminating as much as most other cars.

Anyone know what is involved in changing standard VN dash cluster to the trip computer version. What wires sensors are needed. Is the harness in a SS the same so it can connect straight up?? Any threads on this one. Ta:drink:

Any advise on what to do if the shock turns when you try to loosen the nut at the top of strut????? How do you hold shock so that you can loosen the nut????

Yeah I got the same prob with my vn ss. Got some bearing plates from wrecker $20 off vn which looked like it just had suspension done before crashing it. Bit of a bitch to get out though, anyone got some got tips to get out easy???? cheers

In the process of changing internal fuel pump. Got a universal pump but the electrical connectors are different. Anyone know if you can get a connector to fit a 2 prong fitting???????????????? Can you test the fuel pump before installing into tank?????????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VN SS fuel tank got a gurgling type of sound mainly when fuel gets low in tank(last 1/4) is this the internal pump almost packing it in or is the external pump not sucking enough fuel????????? Fuel pressure feels ok. Just hope someone can help clarify before I go by a new pump, so I don't waste...
