Probably is for the LS1, I've had it confirmed from Holden and HSV that the HSV L67 is different. It's actually a different part number to the standard Holden ones.

You're definitely wrong. Mine also emits 3 beeps when armed not 5. The standard Holden module(with the same code as my XU6 unit) send the ess into armed mode every time ignition is attempted. There's most definitely a software difference in the abs modules.

Could be the purge hose. Usually slips off the TB or cracks and causes a hiss. If it is I replaced mine with fuel hose from supercheap. Took care of the hiss.

I have a spare 273 004 485 that I'm looking to sell if you're interested. Bought it for my XU6 but won't work because of the HSV security software so I have to pay the $800 ransom to Holden instead. :(

Sounds to me like the DFI. Give the wiring connected to the dfi/cool pack a wiggle while running or Trying to start it and see if that makes a difference. If it does I'd change the coils and the pack they're sitting on. A cheap way to get it to work is to remove the wiring harness and spraying...

Look out for the ABS modules, they're a pain in the backside when they let go and being a HSV you need the HSV specific coded ones otherwise your immobiliser will intervene as I've recently learnt the hard way. $800 or so new from Holden too.

My XU6 came with rattling cats when I bought it earlier this year and I replaced them with Magna flows from Rob Bliss here in Brisbane. Gave it a noticeably deeper growl under load and much better performance although I attribute the performance due to the originals being well stuffed. Annoyed...

Not a fan of this dealership. I believe one of their staff removed my vanity bin/tool kit with "0001" badge when the original owner traded it in there. Can't prove it but replacing those parts was very expensive :/

It's a royal pain in the backside. I get around it by hitting the X in the far right of the address bar just as the page loads for every new page I look at.

Air intake piping, throttle body, ignition leads and injector wiring(squeeze and pull). When I did mine I found this side to be less of a pain than the drivers side.
