    VN clutch pedal height issue

Also possible if using the plastic type thrust bearing carrier, for it it to break where the fork pushes.

VS Berlina Wagon - Manual | Supercharged

Yeah the catch can works well, had a couple drops in it after the track day, intake/blower was very oiled up when i dis-assembled it. Havnt had much luck with clutches in this, exedy clutch had a failed thrust bearing, and the NPC thrust bearing positions the clutch fork too far forward...

VS Berlina Wagon - Manual | Supercharged

End result - im pretty happy with how it turned out, once vac leak was sorted i took it for a spin and just wants to shred the tyres, very quickly realised that the NPC clutch is not up to the task anymore though. I participated in a track day on 13th May at Marulan Driver training centre...

VS Berlina Wagon - Manual | Supercharged

Found a used Yella Terra stealth W2A and snout come up for sale, grabbed them both for a good price and went about installing them along with a Mace insulator, to try combat the high IAT's which made the engine quite sluggish in the heat. Pulled down ready to install intercooler Mace...

VS Berlina Wagon - Manual | Supercharged

Bit of a long overdue update! lots has been happening especially in last couple months. Car was tuned about a year ago, unfortunately once we put the base tune on the Exedy clutch would no longer hold the torque. The tune had to be postponed at this point and i called up NPC and sorted a...

VX L67 (vx super 6) manual conversion

All L67 varients through to VY still use a memcal, it will still drive ok on the auto tune, but re-tune would be ideal and necessary to remove check engine light.

Mine's been tuned for a while now, its never been on dyno, but i imagine its around the 270rwhp mark.

Blown 304 united E85 mafless tune

Many of the V6 guys use him, from what i seen he's good with Kalmaker and has done plenty of e85 tuning.

    Boingk's Supercharged VS Ute

Cant help with too low/too loud, but i have had similar drama with mine. Essentially the first time, after the conversion, just went in and got blue slip/engine number change, was all good at that point. Later on the engine came out for a rebuild, and it also ran out of rego during that...

L67 front LH fuel RAil bolt in block twisted off HELP/ options any one?

On a side note, I noticed some intercooler kits for these they only use 3/4 studs that hold down the fuel rail, so i don't think you have any issues

VY / VZ Power Window Switches into VR / VS : I need a wiring diagram or example

Here is VS wiring that's been pinned straight into a VT-VZ connector. Don't have any diagrams but its not hard to work out.

    Non genuine power windows control

The aftermarket switches are definitely inferior quality, it may last a couple years, or couple weeks. Buy genuine if you can afford it.

    (HELP) Good old sc14 supercharger

What ive always done when needing numerous different belt lengths was getting a rough idea of the length then just driving the car to parts store and asking what they have around that size and testing them there on the car, usually they always have one that will work and saves buying the wrong one.

    vu l67 swap

L67 variants still use the VT style (memcal) PCM however. as far as i know, the body harness plugs are different meaning L67 engine harness will not directly plug up to a VU. Theres a tuner in sydney that can flash a L67 tune onto the orignal PCM, that may be an easier option rather than...

    Amp advice for new system

Its a good amp to drive the components, however not ideal for the sub. That sub has dual 4 Ohm VC's, so it can only be wired in parallel (2 Ohm) or Series (8 Ohm). The amp will only support 4 Ohm in bridged mode so its not ideal. Either get a Dual 2 Ohm/ Single 4 Ohm VC sub, or an amp that...

V6 replaced into car that was a Supercharged V6, now chugging at idle, what's wrong?

Memcal from a VT V6 should work, get one from a wrecker and try it.

Did you change the memcal? Tune will be way off otherwise

    [Ecotec] L67 M90 Bypass

There's a guide on l67torque. Essentially you want to just remove both hoses that lead down to the solenoid, you can unbolt and remove the solenoid too if you like. The free port left on the bottom of the actuator you can leave open but it's a good idea to use some stocking to cover it and stop...

    [Ecotec] L67 M90 Bypass

Disabling the bypass valve is not recommended. I'd leave it alone and just stick to bypassing the solenoid as they are what cause boost issues.
  32. SweetWagon

    [Ecotec] L67 M90 Bypass

Your only bypassing the solenoid which is controlled by the PCM and prone to leak/fail. The actual bypass valve/actuator still functions.

Running 2 amps off High Level Input

I'd suggest running a 4 channel LOC for your door speakers, and try get a 4 channel Amp with RCA preouts/line out and simply run those over to your subs amplifier.

    2.5" extractors on a N/A ecotec

Changing the diff ratio is a good performance modification in its own right but The diff gear ratio wont really bandaid changes to your torque curve. If your car is an automatic, and there is a noticeable loss in low rpm torque, you could always look into a higher rpm torque/stall converter...

    l67 not running full boost?

That port needs to breathe, take the screw out, and probably a good idea to wrap some stocking or filtering material around it to stop debris getting in.
  38. SweetWagon

    2.5" extractors on a N/A ecotec

Peak power no, but they will shift the torque curve into the higher rpm's on a stock motor, which is usually the 'power loss" people speak of.

    Do I need another amp?

there's literally hundreds of 4 channel pioneer amps, your going to have to give more details than that ie. Model numbers if anyone will have a chance at helping you..
