vr94ss.. vr remote central locking opens all doors, vs u push the button once it only unlocks the drivers door, push it twice all the doors open. Dunno why but i have owned both (vr/vs) and there all the same nice car by the way mate.. cheers scott

Hey i have just bought a 93 vr commodore and was told it is an executive the compliance plate says GH8VRK ******* My mate has a vt s pack and his complaince plate is GH8VTK****** I am thinking my car is an s pack considering it is manual but it is also missing most body mouldings...

i just put a 2nd hand box in mine for $700 with a 60 day warranty to get it rebuilt was gonna cost $1800 unless u plan to keep the car for years not really worth it.. cheers

if you don't mind doing it when the gauges get stuck again give the dash abit of a wack.. if there abit sticky they should pop up to where they need to go.. if not it's your senders. p.s i have never done this to my car :whistling

hey just ring some wreckers, whoever told you vr engines are hard to find need to stop smoking the green stuff.. if you find the right wrecker they can put it in for your and they are normally cheapier then mechanics... good luck mate

after much thinking i am just gonna put an auto back in it.... worked out to be to much drama can't find parts and or mixed advice has turnt me off the idea.... next plan trade it in for a 5 speed commie something arather... hoping a v8 but see what comes up.. thanks anyway guyz scott

from what i have noticed all vr/vs gearboxes go between the ks of 200000-270000 mine just went at 260 my missus vs is about to thats at 216 my mates went at 220 and my old boys ute went at 270000.. just seems to be around that mark... cheers all for the replys i will let you know what happens...
