50psi hot at idle

I havent pulled the pump out yet. The drain back hole inside the seal housing was clear. Oil pressure was fine beforehand so I dont think it was blocked. Before I pulled the engine apart I topped up the oil and refired it and oil pressure was decent but down 25 psi from where it was before so...

That was my guess too as its the only thing that makes sense, its more the how and what i can do to stop it happening again.
