pickd the tank uptoday and yeah its only a 90ltr but aparently some of the VN/VP HSV's had 110ltr tanks, not verry common tho what needs to be modifyed on the filler neck? shortend or?

yeah it had new oil ect, we are looking at takeing the mechanic to court especialy now we have found whats wrong. checkd the oil and found metal fragments in the oil.. so bottom end has gone, and geussing 400 odd ks with all of about 3ltrs of water in the system didnt help that..

Turns over fine, just idles like crap n ya gota keep foot on throttle to keep revs up so it doesnt die untill the motor starts to warm up

Hey, got a vs series 3 supercharged v6 running 14psi pully and a yellaterra water intercooler and fuel rails ect. Any time we start it in the morning it takes a bit to get it going almost like a carby motor without the auto choke on it. Any ideas what could cause this?

Yea unfortunatly iv tryd taken the two out of the front seats and they have rusted in so not sure how to go about getting them out. The rear ones came out fine but they were the ones i would have kept for the custom interior lol

Front seats are just standard VK calais seats that had the scheel head rests put in, and there that cerulean bluey green colour (sorry if its spelt wrong)

Pain in the ass to change or not?

Hey guys, iv got a VT SS with a 330mm pbr break upgrade on it, just wondering what it would take to put that on my VK and put stock breaks back on my VT? Is it as simple as takeing the rotors/calipers/braided lines off and hooking them up on the vk? Any other parts i would need to buy?

Yea decided to leav stickers on it. Got front skirt and grile orderd the other day and should be picking it up mid next week. Hopfully get the new steering hub powder coated next week aswell.

nah its not a mafless tune, im not 100% on how all the LS1 editing n **** works, iv been told mines edited but not tuned? still runnin standard air box with MAF sensor hookd up. fuel economy sudenly turnd to sh*t at about 130,000ks and guys down at dyno put some sensor in the exhaust n said it...

Got bored so i dug up my old thred and posted some more recent pics. bit of an update, got a new front bar painted up and gettn a GRP 3 front skirt made up soon along with new grile, and new steering hub going on. cant wait for summer will be good to get it out cruising again :rofl2:

hey guys, put a new pair of O2 sensors in my VT SS LS1 seen the old ones were stuffd, car seems to idle smoother ect but fuel economy is still fairly sh*t.. have done almost 800ks since puttn new ones in.. do i have to get the car re-tuned or what?
