my VN calais doesnt have lights in the footwells and at the back of the console, is this normal?

I feel sooooo stupid, it ended up being the frigin spark plug. For some stupid reason i checked the spark going to the spark plug but not the spark plug itself, I learned heaps from it in many ways anyway. Sorry to hassle. Its all good now. Thanks for your help

VN V6 suddenly running like crap, one of the injectors isnt firing. There is no change in idle when i pull the electrical lead off one of them. The spark plug is gettin plenty of spark, so i dont think its the coil pack. I tested the resistance on that injector and its the same as the rest...

I pulled the pcv valve and cleaned it, (was dirty as a mofo.) and cleaned the throtle body. It runs heaps better. Ill check the TB after a bit of driving and hope its not oily.

The engine was re-built about 2 years ago

yeah a bit of oil comes out of the dip stick.

yeah the dip stick seal is loose so its always popping up a bit and i was reading that the PCV wont work properly unless all seals like that are tight so ill fix that asap, the gasket on the TB is fine. The oil was actually dripping out when i took the air cleaner pipe off, some in TB and heaps...

G'day i had a look at my throtle body on my vn v6 and an redish, gritty, dirty, oil substance was dripping out of the TB entrance. How Does it get there? Is it bad?

i think i would need the motors, im just trying to get mine working for the vn. but if i could get the rear motors and mechanisms i should be able to get em goin.

yeah the aftermarket Cruise controll from supercheap, repco etc. is DIY, Easy only took me a couple of hours

I think you can get a cruise controll setup from supercheap, etc. for around $130

cool. when i was there i fitted a cruise controll settup (pretty easy) and used probably 5-10 litres less @ 100kms

In my VH slx the air con light is always on. Just wondering if this is normal. Thought maybe its to let you know where the switch when its dark.

my vh turns back towards me but my cousins VH doesnt. So yeah the ignition barel could be a bit damaged.

how does your 173 go? (power wise) i have the same engine and not many people in here have a 173. is yours ok on fuel? did u see in my Avatar the chrome air cleaner cover i made from a HR hub cap.
