Strange one this . I replaced the fuse, circuit and relay. Just can't find the driver relay according to my wiring diagram . Window will go up with switch just not down. Will only go down if I disconnect the harness and hook the motor up to the battery by reversing the polarity...

That's the 4 pin power relay, I'm after the 5 pin driver .

Looking at my wiring diagram I see the power window relay and driver window relay, can anyone tell me where the driver window relay is ??

I never took the thing off removing mine.. some people do it the hard way. pcv and something else buddy if I can recall.

relay , fuse, there could be a break in the wiring lines somewhere... do a wiring test mate.

I recently did a ecotec swap with a loom that came with the new rebuilt motor...... no dramas expect getting 2 wire 02 sensors to replace my 4wire sensors i had. plug n play. shop around for days!!! even travel. i got a bargin for $500 with 114000km

So over 100ks and reducing speed to 80.... im getting the fault Right-Sensor-open. Left-sensor-missing. engine-light-on wont clear unless ignition is off. black connected to black. both whites are connected to the single white. grey isvdoing nothing, thinking i should ground this to the body...

Is it possible to just rewire a 4wire into 2wire sensor???? colour code and disregard the rest?? Installing a new loom so yeah. :boxing:

idle changes? possible check 02sensor/tps could be a wiring connecton not the sensor its self.

Your buttons don't work on the key pad? You only have to have the ignition to "ON" that should cancel it out. Very Strange........... You really need the unlock button on the pad working.....

There's a button near the hood latch/hook inserts in front of the radiator that will trigger it if the alarm was previously set. Placing your keys in the ignition and turning it on should disable it. Even press the mode button and see what happens.

Thanks mate I'll adjust and test the wiring. New TPS is in so I'm thinking I didn't adjust it correctly or the wiring is the answer..... I'm seriously thinking about swapping the loom with the spare loom I have.

Should the throttle be open when tps is installed? im still getting the same issue on the tool and adld is reading 0.02volts with new tps. this 30deg install both ways has me buggered if thats why its still has the engine light come on ..... I even tried the 10second 2000rpm trick, no luck.

Hey guys. Engine light comes on, idles at 1500rpm. DTC reads code 22. 416=reads5v. earth has resistance. 417blue = reads 0.03 volts on the connection and after the wire..... I have a new tps waiting....... the scantool wont clear it with the older tps so im gathering its the wire...

Ive found a vy engine from 2002 :) mine is 2004, i think ill have no dramas with it.. should be no need for bcm,ecu swapping? what about the keys? should just turn over?

hey people shagged my motor, killed a piston in pieces...looks to be cheaper in my situation just to get another motor,seeing i have to shift a 1000ks for uni in 2 weeks or less. looks cheaper just to swap motors? rebuild kits can get pricey..and genuine parts are hard to find. i have a vx...

yeah buddy exhausts there all different, everything i read about twin cats claming extensions for 02 sensors with extractors.. what a myth. not needed in my case

Clean your battery terminals to if they look like crap..... if your keen clean the throttle body, inspect the IAC. do what Futech said above!

okay my mirrors will go side to side.... not up or down? replaced power window fuse/relay, drivers side window wont go down i can hear a click behind the fuse box under the dash. if i hold the button down for more then 10seconds i can hear it click more then once atleast 3 times. any...

yeah there's only 1 sensor, located under the thermo housing via the bleed screw.

power to go up hills? and lose traction over the other side of the hill, side ways crash!! seriously take your time with your build even if it takes a year, think before you buy 10 different products can have the same outcome, search every resource out there, buy second hand if you have too...

Do what i did. take a soldering tourch to the temp sensor, get someone to watch the gauge and see what temp the fans kick in. you cant do any damage to your motor if the ignition is on, temp sensor is out or in, either way it works, just becareful where you cook the sensor wit the tourch...
