I think the RTA meant 'CE' which means its approved by the European Design standards, and the ADR have pretty much said that if it good enough for the Europeans, its good enough for us!

The reason you can only put 55/65W globes into newer models is because anything else will melt the plastic the reflector is made of. Plus 50's are the only globes I will use and recommend. Usually the same price as normal globes (H4 and H1)

The 18's look much nicer, but put the original VY one's on. It will cost less insurance wise and will send your value up as its original equipment that comes with your model.

I was speaking to a few Hella reps today and they said that these LED globes are illegal as they are not approved by the ADR.

I tried finding this harness in my car. To no success. Holden says it should be under the glove box - but its not. I'm not happy :(

I have Hella Plus50 bulbs and they seem fine on low beam. You can't put higher wattage bulbs in as they will melt the plastic that the reflector is made of. That is why the Plus50 and Cool Blue range have been released. I recommend against Cool Blue as they are useless in the wet.

Hmm, I have this noise too! I think its just low rev engine vibration. The ute is making its 4th trip to Holden as there is a huge droning noise everytime I make a left turn and the radio now won't even pick up the local stations in Brisbane all that well anymore.

12.5L/100k's usually while driving around downtown Brisbane Had it as low as 7.9 while on a trip to the Sunshine Coast once. I was happy!

I have this too. I found that in 'N' (I have an auto) that the virbration stops as it goes to 1000rpm

Got my issues fixed. Thanks guys. Power steering was not correctly aligned so it was corrected. Also some vents in the fuel tank were not plugged when built so its going to be fixed this week. As for the transmission - apparently theres nothing wrong with it.
