    Hello and Thoughts on VE SS upgrade options.

    I went harrop 4 spotters and 355mm rotors all round , vcm otr vcm headers with cats 2.5" Manta Exhaust , T6060 Gbox . eton trutrac diff , willall racing tune , crane springs , and crane 1.8:1 roller rockers makes great power. PS I also put an ls3 in it.

    yeah and if you had a prang in it you died they didnt handle or brake or steer but hey bring back the good ol days.... by a beemer if you want hi tech metals oh but it will cost you twice as much and as for waiting buy now enjoy , next series trade in and enjoy etc etc

    show the idea is to have the boot open for people to see if you have a real spare or a space saver ? my spare lives in my garage and it saves space in there no worries had 1 flat in the last 20 years or so and I drove home on it (there tubeless) drove to the tyre shop next day had it...

    i have just been talking to the walker tech and the mufflers on the vz are flow through glass pack , the centre mufflers have no baffles just perforations and the rear had no baffles one side is perforated the other isnt check up your tail pipe with a torch youll see what i mean

    yeah ive run 91-95-98 runs OK on the lower two but runs nice on the 98 , we have a garage in adelaide that has 102Octane unleaded , i might try that next

    that "silencer" is an acoustic chamber for intake pulses and is worth 4KW more to the engine so Id be leaving it on

    id be taking it back to the dealer there no way thats ok mine is nothing like that , sure when cold its a bit stiff but once warm its fine. Did you get hold of the torqo gearbox oil ?

    fuel consumption while at the lights is round 2L/100K's the reason your AVERAGE climbs is that you are not moving so no k's are added to the average my 6.0ltr ss gets 13-14 round town and 9-10 on the open road

    guess who wins 1st prize , was that a complex thought for you the reason for the self starter is to save the starter motor and ring gear from DH's who hold it in too long , the no start option is for the same reason its called idiot proofing :hit:

    i always supply my own oil and filter and any other parts required so Its just a labour thing. You can buy oil in bulk and get it cheaper same with oil filters then fill a contaner and give them the filter save heaps
