Whitewall tyres can now be defectable......

I'll stick with my "white walls" :p As for the rule though, I'm sure they'll keep doing it just without the grinding back of the tyre surface. Won't produce as neat a job up close, but from a distance will look the same.

Anyone got a good DIY amp install writeup?

yeh its good! not finished yet, got another drawer to makke in the back and a couple of extra little touches here and there. sub slightly impedes rear view mirror but only slightly. The bit it does cut out is covered by drivers side mirror anyway.

Anyone got a good DIY amp install writeup?

good advice there philthy ;) so will an amp specify what the thickest wiring it can take is? and say from the battery to the rear of the car, I can run the thickest wire possible, then just jump down to the maximum allowed for the amp after the distribution block? if that makes sense?!

Anyone got a good DIY amp install writeup?

cheers Kal, must have been using the wrong combo of words when I searched google as I didn't come up with anything like that! first one is a good link... philthy - cheers for that info, might just go in and see what they all sound like. I'm willing to pay extra for quality, but don't want to...

Anyone got a good DIY amp install writeup?

yeh cheers, it's just a package JB have at the moment, they don't quote model numbers. it's priced at $1346 but with their 30% off this weekend comes down to just under a grand. any particular brands you'd suggest for a fairly decent sound quality? Mainly looking at some 6" splits and a sub/amp...

Anyone got a good DIY amp install writeup?

National Driver Training Scheme, a FREE driving lesson for L, P1 holders.

it's a start of sorts. personally I think they need to make the test to get your P's a LOT harder. some of the people that manage to get a licence... just scares me. oh, and you shouldn't be able to tranfer international licenses while on topic. there's a lot of people out there that have...

    Possum in my backyard...advice?

you can hire a possum trap from your local council. I think you're only meant to relocate them a maximum of 50m away or something but no one will know if you took it for a longer journey. just need to put some fruit or something in it to catch it, easy as pie!

    Sack that sandilands?

Seriously, I hate Kyle but if you start blaming him for what went wrong you're all idiots. Firstly, he didn't initiate that question, her mother did. Secondly, he wasn't the one playing it live. Producers should have realised thats something you delay the broadcast of... in case that happens...

    $10,000 plates

how to put a vs motor into a vr

i did it to my old VP as well. off memory you'll need the engine, VS engine mounts, then either the VS gearbox or a custom flywheel, custom y-pipe from extractors to exhaust, either the VS computer or a custom tune on your VR memcal, you'll need to screw around with sensors. overall, a bit of a...

Approval from RTA needed to raise or lower car suspension

mustn't be taken very seriously at the moment though, even with the slacker laws. how many 80's/90's patrol's do you see running around with a 4" suspension lift AND a 4" body lift? Doubt they'd have approval!

    Importing 2010 Ford Mustang V6

doubt for the money you've got you'd be even able to get the V6 over here. not to mention the hastle of having to do everything... but then you've gotta ask the question, why bother with something that expensive (and really not all that great) when you could just wait a couple of years...
