    colour coding

yeah you can take the garnish off on VP's too, just have to be careful not to damage the number plate lights.. i think ill go find one at the wreckers, paint it, then see if i like it or not... painting it is no problem (dad was a painter for 25 years :-D) i might do the badge soonish then...

    CAI which is better

yeah true. ok dont quote me on this but from what ive been reading around here, pods are NOT illegal as long as they are fastened correctly, ie: not hanging loose in your engine bay, heat sheilds have nothing to do with it, they just give your pod a cooler pocket of air to draw into your...

    Bloody Injectors?????

try the wreckers, they are always your best friend for us VN/P owners, being old cars there's always a few at any given wreckers... cheers Josh
  29. jolly_97

    CAI which is better

um mate i presume u mean CAI (cold air intake) instead of CIA (central intelligence agency) lol. well from what ive heard the standard VS CAI and a K&N panel filter is the best way to go for all round performance, pods suck hot air when sitting in traffic so they dont do wonders for you engine...

overheating? engine light - not good...

ok no worries guys, cheers for the feedback. Im gonna go down and grab a thermostat today. Ive got a vague idea of how to check fault codes but i think ill be lazy and just head to the wreckers to grab a temp sensor. if that doesnt work burt_vn may be right and i might have blown a headgasket...

overheating? engine light - not good...

radiator was replaced 5000km ago so i doubt its that, the radiator hose isint tight so mm all things point towards thermo or temp sensor, hopefully either way its easy and not too costly to fix... cheers Josh

overheating? engine light - not good...

ok, pretty simple really, my car has been overheating for the last 2 days, at first i thought it was just because of the hot weather but tonight it overheated (temp needle sitting vertical) and the engine light came on. now, i managed to get it home all safe and sound. the coolant levels are...
