I had the same problem and what fixed mine was one of two thin black vacuum hoses was kicked off from under the dash on the passenger side foot well. I felt around under the dash for a small pipe to push the hose back on and wonders of wonders problem all soved.

Yep its in the centre console. Ive only got one key with its black dongle and I want to buy another key head and dongle and need to know how you introduce it to the security system with the red dongle.

Have a mate that has converted his VS V6 ute to a manual. His only problem is how do you get the speedo to work? What is it you have to do to the Auto loom or computer? Will their be any other electrical problems that need to be addressed?

Worn link pin rubbers can make knocking noises when cornering. I bought a urethane set on ebay for $60 and I beleive nolathane has an instalation guide on their site. They are reputed to make cornering more positive.
