ah ya get tips that makes a bit of differance

before we replace things were goin to try the vasalene trick prime the spark plug holes and wind it over manualy while pouring oil bown the head can take sometimes 15 minutes

all together now but got oil problems no oil reaching head nothing to do with the head though we think its the oil pickup/ pump so we got to rip the engine out again so see what appens.

they were checked quite thouroughly its like the oilpumps not woking properly but the oil pump looked fine when we checked it. i filled it with 4 litres i no there supposed to take around 5 but that shouldnt effect any thing.

just done a rebuild on a 202 motor crank bearings, rings etc. Have started and ran it for a while and theres no oil circulating to the rockers can anyone help.

just wanna know where the computer is and anyone got any pictures

yeah ya have to change the valves and seats im picking my head up on friday tell ya how she goes and ya probably best getting it shaved and theyl crack test it to.

all ya can do to get the fluid out is drop the sump or get it when on a tilt no sump plug on the trimatics

why would ya go 60 thou instead of 20 just shortening life of motor and amount of times you can reco it

Bought a vk 202 a off an 81 year old only owner and stripped it down to replace crank bearings and rings and discovered that it had been bored out to 60 thou.

10 thou been taken off already also the its been bored out to 60 thou

Pulled crank shaft out the other day from a 202 black. Bearings were pretty worn and some had white metal and brass stripped (close to melting). Theres a few blemashes on the crank nothing to bad just thinking of goin over with some really fine emery paper. "Any opinions would be...
