I would say we are going to see it sooner rather than later. With the annoucement of 600 job cuts at the plant Holden also announced that it planned to be producing VE's only by October. So I would say an introduction of Ute by August/September is possible.

The Aurion is just a Camry with a V6 Engine and a different nose. SIMPLE! Some asian countries even have the "Aurion" as their Camry, but with a 4 cylinder engine

L98 is the L76 with the DOD hardware removed. As for VE II i doubt it will happed, i remember reading somewhere that there wont be series II updates every 12 months due to the short product cycle with the new model.

The Indicator Stalks, yes, are carried over, although the actual mechanisim behind them is differnet, much smoother and they now have lane change function. Basic engines are carried other, with detail changes. Such as new Exhausts, new timing chains and internal bits for the V6's, new engine...

this particular falut (the seatbelts) was only in a certain muber of cars, and they were all fixed by dealers before the Monday 14th release date. Not A recall in my opinion. Build and bridge and move on

Morpheous (the bright metallic purple colour that Holden applied to a few random VZ SV6's and S Utes) will be available in 2007, but only on HSV's at this stage. Strange too that HSV are offering both Fusion (from the Monaro CV8-Z) and Ignition in their VE Range

OMG, when will ppl get over this A/C stuff? Put A/C on and the price is the same as the Falcon. ITS A MARKETING PLOY! Holden can say "This special edition car has $3000 worth of extra's" rather than if A/C was "standard" and saying "This special edition car has $1000" of extra's"...

Ahhh NO The initial Launch packs that dealers will start recieving this week will not contain any Commodore V special edition cars. The Special edition Commodore V won't be available until September. And even then dealers will still have stocks of Omega's. Name of the limited edition...

well the cars we drove were piolt build cars and had labels on the dash stating that not all things were production spec. The finish around the edges of the gear leaver was a bit rough, but everything else was very goood and very un-commodore Also the plastics and fabrics were great to touch...

after seeing the new VE SV6 on friday nite, all i can say is WOW!~

boot size is up, but the opening is smaller in regards to the spare, our dealership put through our first order of cars on thursday, for september production, and we ordered ALL cars with a full size spare :D

having been to the dealer launch and seeing the cars in person i can not tell you how wrong you are. Go and have a look at one in your dealership and come back and tell me it didn't give you a raging hard on:thumbsup:

well they will be the same cloth and leather as whats in the VE,so they should be. Not sure about the quality of the plastics ect..... Interior and Exterior design as far as i know is staying as is. Just trim and paint colour changes
