What would have been charging the battery ie, preventing it from going flat, if the alternator wasnt fine during these two days Kopper69? I dont think a battery could hold that much charge although I could be wrong.

Hi Dazza, If it ran fine for two days chances are that the alternator is working fine, ie charging the battery. If you have access to a multimeter test the voltage with the car running should be 13.8V or a bit more. I suspect that there is a circuit running constantly that is discharging...

UCWeapon, AFAIK the Cefiro got the RB20DET. RB30 and RB30ET are only an Australian market motors (skyline and VL). In Japan they do stroke the RB26 to three litres however this is still and RB26DETT.
