radio code error after BCM changed

The BCM has the radio pin stored in it, when the BCM is replaced the PIN needs to be programmed into it, whoever fitted it should do this as a matter of course, they would have had to link it anyway. Rob

Please do not conduct business with Doctor Bob

I initially asked you to send it back, and i still have not seen the PCM for repairs we do have an ABN you did not ask for a reciept as any time the instrument cluster issue is not related to anything we did return the PCM for checking & i will see whats going on. Rob

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

you probably need to change the BCM to one that has window control as the BCM controls the drivers window down circuit

yes probably, it needs to have the fuel guage cal changed to a sedan one
  20. D

    Can key's be reprogrammed?

No they are write once only all this crap about key on, key off & hor beeping is complete rubbish it cannot work, the BCCM needs to send the request to the remote first & no amount of standing on one leg & clucking like a chicken will do it. some keys can be reset using a particular sequence...
  21. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

does it work ok with the original cluster back in?
  22. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  24. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  25. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

try taking it to a clutch specialist, but that quote sounds ok
  26. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  27. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

the error is in the Head unit not the discs, try disconnecting power from the unit for a few minutes
  28. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  29. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  31. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  32. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  33. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  36. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

  37. D

Does my VE SS have an immobiliser?

yes it has an immo, the transponder is built into the key try the dealer
  38. D

    Ask the EX-Holden Technician

the starting thing could either be the key or thr reader circuit the misfire could be plugs, you can buy them & replace them yes but if you are unsure its probably best get someone to do it for you, im sure one of the members on here will be close to you & be able to help, where are you...
  39. D
