I would say it is either your thermostat or coolant lid. I would try replacing these and then see what happens. Even if it isnt the cause they are the cheapest options and will prob need replacing anyways.

I agree you are either thrashing it around city or you have a fault somewhere. Ive got a vz calais 190kw and i average 12.4 and that is with putting foot down here and there...

monaro rears wont go into anything other than a manaro. The seats are alot thinner and mounting points are differant.

Hey guys i picked up a complete factory MS5400HD system from a VY and plan to install in my VZ Calais. Would anyone have or know where i could find some instructions on how to install this ? and where things go ?where to run wires ect..? Any helpwould be appreciated, thanks :)

You can also look at getting a can of clear heat proof coating and spraying it around the exhaust cutout. Although i would suggest bending your rubber hangers down abit.

well a mate who is a trans specialist stripped the box and said the second and fowarth band had snaped. But got it fixed for 1 grand.

NO it will go from 1st straight into third. And if you do it manually in second or 4th it will just go into nuetral.

i have twin thermo's in mine so i didnt have to trim the fan.

when you switch the ignition on can you hear the fuel pump prime ? if not then you need to replace the pump.
