I find Shell V-Power to be the best fuel in my 5.7. Have also tried BP Ultimate, Caltex Vortex & Mobil 8000 but the car runs smoother with V-Power. More fuel efficient too.

Update - as I mentioned earlier, I haven't had it over 3,000rpm before. So I took it up a semi-hilly area this arves and opened it up to about 4,300rpm. The noise is much quieter now, I'll keep an eye on it but for now, it seems to have fixed the problem. Who would have thought... Hopefully...

Magnatec is 10w-40. I assume that's a direct conversion, so if 1 bar = 14.5psi than 3 bars = 43.5 psi??

I assume it's an auto, so yes Dextron III is the correct oil. How is the oil level? It's unusual that it does when in gear & park as well. Does it drive any different, ie shift points, power etc. It may not even be the gearbox. Who changed the oil anyway?

If you have a VY S, the original headlights are a different shape to the VZ ones. You'll notice your parking lights are small, circular and located centrally at the bottom of the headlight. Your bumper bar has room to accommodate for this. The VZ SS on the other hand has the parkers underneath...
