you say its an m20 but you describe the gearbox like its an automatic? i'd say you have a trimatic auto as you mention a vacuum hose and tranny fluid bein over the full mark by a bit. If so change the fluid and filter (basic service) if you havent already, dirty fluid when hot wont have good...

As far as i know tacho's come in 4,6 or 8 cylinder versions with some aftermarket ones having a switch to select which engine its being hooked up to. So if you have a 6 cyl tacho its gonna work with any engine with 6 cylinders in it. Thats what i reckon i might be wrong though but some advice...

yeah thats all sorted i got a commodore bellhousing with the right pivot point for the clutch fork so i can use my cable setup in my car.
