The dash would be dark carmine. Only real way to get it is get a dash part and get it colour matched. Engine colour is GM blue

The carby black 308/304 will have 308 cast into it.....

the 5.0L cast on blocks are from VN to VR series. The VK and VL 304 will have 308 cast on the blocks.

There isn't a build number. There is a month/year on the safety compliance plate. Lots say the chassis number denotes its what ever number built but that is totally incorrect.

The 5 speed with 2.85 is Borg Warner, weak gearbox. Think VK ones are the same too.

Its only on the strokers 215i. So the main ID plate will state M38 .
