I normally use Vortex98, seems to be slight power increase but the most important thing is I get 460-480k's to a tank. Used V-Power last week, only got 410k's. Normal unleaded I get 400-410. Mobil 98ron - 410-420k's. BP Ultimate 440-460k's.

Dunno about buying them, but there was a guy in a Gold VS at Easternats who has the VZ flares in his front guards. It looked like a custom job as they sat really high on the guard.

I find that hard to believe... Done it in at least 2 sixes without any dramas, Holden V6:yeah: (Stock) and Ford 3.9l straight 6:whistling . Both Autos, Both Stock. I think the biggest problem is where to learn how to do these things safely and legally.

I agree it doesnt sound right.. As far as I am aware that is the sort of figure a turbo'd beast might pull. It does pull damn hard off the line, and traction in the wet is non existant, but 600+nm seems ridiculous. Can anyone suggest a second dyno place in SE suburbs??

As far as I was aware the VS-VT engine had 147kw at the flywheel from factory, which by my rough euneducated guess 95rwkw is about right(especially for a 100,00k engine) But I dont know what the torque figures should be??

Just called wreckers, they claim engine has never been run on gas. Called mechanic (who still has car) oil change was done at installation of engine using Valvoline 20W-40 (not synthetic) New Plugs when engine fitted - Leads 12 months old and tested ok.:b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b:

I had the same prob after someone backed into me. :flame: There is a vaccuum ball under the passenger side of the front bar (just near the washer reservior) which if this is disconnected you will have no position adjustment for you heating/cooling controls. Check that out and see how you go.
