Looks like you are caring for this VP SS well. I have always had a soft spot for the VN and VP SS's. Too many of them are getting thrashed out and not looked after. Well done!

I use the Moster iCar Play. It is a very good unit, without having to be hard wired. Have a look on Google for a link. I have heard of very good reviews from a lot of people about this cable.
I had an LPG system installed into my VN. I paid for one of the best systems and was happy with it.
Just one tip...keep up with the regular servicing of the system. I used to have mine done once a year. It just allows for checking of the mixtures etc.
My car ran 246.2 rwhp stock.
Then it ran 262.1 rwhp with Difilippo 1 7/8" extactors and a pod style airbox fitted (the larger extractors were put on for a purpose as the long term plan is forced induction).
Then it ran 272.1 rwhp (on a different dyno, so still has to be dynoed on the dyno...
I fitted Pacemaker extractors to my past 3 cars. I think a good option would be the Pacemaker super6 extractors (fit the 6 also) as they are only a little more in cost and have a larger pipe diameter.

There are some intakes getting around just for 1/4 runs that are an ali scoop with no filter. Powertorque also sell an 'off road use only' OTRCAI that does not have a filter and is only for the strip.
All OTRCAI's for road use have a filter. Generally K&N or BMC. Some brands are mafless only...
