ive seen a car with VY sharp edged SS badges on the sides, with a VT SS badge on the back AND grill. hahah tougher exhaust on a v6, anyone can hear a 6 from an 8. my advice, and i owned a stock V6 (now s/c) is just grin and bear it and get an 8 as soon as you can.

yep, when you start the car, the screen will say "press mode for options menu", so press mode, scroll through, speed dependent volume can be turned off, as can sensitivity of auto lights and a bunch of other stuff

HBD- Holden By Design go to the holden website and you can see al the stuff they can do, eg accelerator on the steering wheel for the disabled, my dads mate has a model that does that.

check out raptor s/c thread, as they did numerous mods before the s/c and showed the gains etc. dont get extractors, but for $500 i think a high flow cat and straight flow are generally good to keep a nice flow, with extractors only needed when going s/c and it doubles the price of the exhaust...

my utes dropped 2" front, 3" from back from stock height, rides as good if not better on pedders, handles a bit better too, and rims aint worth having unless your cars lowered as the appearance is so much better. my heights also handy as i dont have to sideways over speedhumps

possible effect of the limiter in the computer perhaps, if you start driving your car hard it will adjust with slower gear changes, or so is my understanding

yeh my ute is lowered on pedders, and i run 18's no problem, and the vy utes are capable of 20's, but i think with 19's you may need to adjust the camber if you havent already done so when getting your car lowered

yeh hold mode and turn your car on i think it is, menu comes up, scrolls through for digital speedo BUT this will reset and you wont have it next time you start the car, also has speed dependent volume settings, auto light sensitivity, 1 or 2 stage unlock, unlocking sound etc
