Its good Quality, I cant tell the difference between it and a CD. You can search through artist's, Playlists, Song Names, Album Names etc. So its pretty easy to find songs.

I have the pioneer adapter, Its great and initially it annoyed me that i couldn't control it from the Ipod, But im use to it now and its great.

The box you are using may be to small for the woofer of the box could be to thin, You usually get a very shallow and hollow sound from a woofer if the box is to small.

Coustic is the lower brand of JL Audio, Coustic is the bottom range, Kicker is the Mid and JL audio the Premium. So it would be alot better than Boss audio. Probably Similair to Pioneer, kenwood etc

Don't buy off Ebay, Most of the time Alpine items on ebay may be the real deal but usually they are gear that has been sent to alpine for refurbishment. I would stear clear of all car audio on Ebay.

I got one of the cheap ones from ebay. Only cost me $60 full delivered. It feels like the car takes corners a lot easier now.

Just buy a single better sub rather than 2 ok subs. Something like a DD 215 would be great as its loud but wont break the bank.

Nope, Shallow mounts subs are ok but nothing special. You would be better of with a 10" normal sub than a 12" slime line or shallow mount. If you want a 10" Sub that will play loud and low have a look at some of the DD 10" Subs.

A 30L box is a 30L box, the shape doesn't matter as the internal volume is the same. The ebay ones are ok, there pretty much what a car audio place would make up for you anyway.
