regardless of any wiring if it was enabled in the tab and switched "on" everytime you put it in reverse the IQ screen would go black

if no option.. then its not enabled... that's why it doesn't work... if you have reverse sensors then in the "off" position of the camera the picture of the car shows with sensors.. in the "on" position then the reverse camera video shows with just the sound from the buzzers

go into the config page and the last tab is camera go in there and turn on the camera

earth? did you connect one? what shows up... just black screen? do you have the video plug in the side of the unit?

As stated before check the earths. Common for ve to lose whole bank of coils cause earth wire broken.

cruise still work? theres no need for a custom loom..... the auto loom would have been fine

how has the P/N been done? so it doesn't start in gear?

what tune is in the car.... prob the reason.. prob wrong calibration

statements like this make me laugh....... I have had 4 people call me regarding map updates because the "cheap" eBay maps didn't work in their IQ..... so maybe they don't have "Brains" because they bought crap and wasted their money... as for the USB stick that the other guy said he has...

VE's don't work like that... the TCM tells the ECU its ok to crank and its in reverse... the ecu then tells the BCM to turn the reverse lights on

is the car running yet? what month and year is the car? whos doing the work/tune etc...

you will find the 6L80e's blowing up will be cause more by a poor tune than the trans builder not doing his job right... same idea as fitting the best pistons but having a tuner run it that lean that it detonates them..

just so you know - Holden can NOT (and this is for everyone) can NOT program a radio for a VE that was not meant for it ..... ie a screened version into a non screened version... regardless of what they say..... (unless of course they allow hacking - which they shouldn't) - I have programmed...

not if it has a screened radio.... screened radios make screen go blank.. the non screened radios show time

triple gauge twin gauge most (but not all) twin can be programmed to tripple

turning off means exactly that turning the oil/volts display off - will be a blank screen with nothing...

Can also program it to show triple gauge

possibly blew the fuse sticking the new unit in.. I know with the SSV screened radios from 07-08.5 they rang 3 battery powers but in MY9 radios they removed one and if you fitted the later radio into an early car it blew the fuse... the fix from holden was to cut the power wire... so check in...

Sic's aren't vin locked. A second hand one will work in any car. Some twin displays can be programmed to triple. Efilive and hptuners can enable the oil temp Done heaps of them

Either the screen clips are loose or fascia faulty. When it stops working push the fascia back on firmly and see if lights up. If does can buy new clips for fascia from Holden.

Hsv for sure .... Has more features.

Have extractors or had any gearbox work fine recently ?
