VT SS do have warning light as i found out when my pulley came off stopping the cooling system, should come up "HOT" on the dash screen and start beeping, luckily i was able to pull over otherwise it could of been nasty.

The Solution Had same problem, Spray Silicon spray on belts and this should fix the noise as it did mine.:thumbsup:

Hi Guys just curious to know how many kilometres per tank (6o Litres) not the 75 as suggested you get from your 5.7 Gen 3 ? i average at the moment about 500km for 60 Litres.:whistling

vaccuum hose the hose that i think runs from the the throttle body and goes along to the top of the motor, it's the vaccuum hose so you'd hear the leak anyway

Could be hose leak Exactly the same thing happened to my Gen3 VT, found 2 holes in one of my hoses, had it replaced and the light hasn't come on since.:dance:

Thinking about adding Fuel Injector Cleaner into my Vt V8 Gen3 tank, are there any dangers in doing this, can't seem to find any negative comments.

Solution Hi Fellas, I had the exact same ticking noise and thought it was coming from the engine, but sprayed some silicon spray all over the belts and pulleys and the noise has completely gone , i suggest you might as well try this, it's amazing how noise travels within a car, tell me if this...

Noise comes directly on top of belt pulley Okay i put my ear up against it, seems to come directly from belt pulley next to radiator hose, this has got me stumped, anyone know?:bang:

Have a noise located to the left of radiator hose, from the belt pulley, makes an annoying noise what could this be? It is a 2000 VT V8 Gen3 .

All hoses are on, im thinking it's the throttle body it might need cleaning inside, but im no mechanic, what do you think?

Hello everyone i have a Vt gen3 V8 which has some kind of hissing noise, seems to be coming from the front, recently had hoses replaced and there all good, when driving it makes a noise that sounds like its sucking air, can someone help please, this is getting annoying.

Need a vacuum hose for my vt ss V8 Gen3 would like to know the price of one please.
