Hi I have a sc6 vt and noticed the pulley of the supercharger slides back under acceleration and rubs on the body of the SC ,Is this just a pulley problem or is it more than that. I remember reading somewhere here but cannot find the pulley removal procedure with a tool if someone can advise...

Thats correct, genuine only came in 19's but aftermarkets are available in 17's I have them on my VT Calais.

I agree as I have said and I'm not biased as luv both cars but the Ba xr6 leaves the vt supercharged behind just! But if i was to tow a boat or van the Vt would be 1st choice as it has lots more torque!:)

Mine is Auto trip tronic and believe me it's no slug! It probably needs a tune;)

I own a BA xr6 with little mods and a Vt sc6 no mods and the BA will be in front at the end of 1/4mile no probs!

Pulled it all apart cleaned and gave the switches a squirt of CRC checked all the ribbons and it seems to be ok and working fine Realising the switches are wired together is why when it was playing up the both played up. Thanks heaps

GDay Dr Bob I have a Vt Calais SC and I have a problem with radio steering wheel controls that work intermittently and more off than on I Dont think it's the actual switches as when they dont work it both that dont work.Any where else should i be looking if it's not the switches? cheers Frank

Moving to left doesn't sound right but does sound like you need a 4 point camber kit as when you go lower on vt's the camber is more pronounced also check the lower control arms. Get a tape measure and star measuring underneath from a central point near the box to the same diagonal points on...

The camber kit shouldn't raise the height?

Yes remove the fuse or safer to disconnect battery otherwise it will log as a fault in the computer. Dont forget to line up the wheel so you know the return position! Frank

Did you start the car to run the oil thru the filter before checking your dipstick? as the filter will take half a liter or more, If so would have been 2 minutes to remove half a litre by undoing the drain plug for a quick burst, lol well at least you tried

The boys at Natrad say they are doing quite a few of them currently I suppose it's the age now where they are starting to play up!
