Losh's Series I SS Ute (AKA Black Thunder).

That was a stupid way to join the exhaust together, should have had a strap across the pipes, not the mufflers welded together. Looks solid enough, weld it up and put a strap just behind them on the pipe and wrap it around at least half way up each pipe.

You want it louder? Don't do that, it's a dumb idea.

Something is not sitting right. Could be alignment clips.

JC Political Thread - For All Things Political Part 2

SARS and MERS are both contagious when symptomatic, Covid is not. It is relatively easy to control a SARS or MERS outbreak, with Covid, it is not. He is an idiot.

    Exhaust

No. I would find a V8 system, will bolt straight up. Removing the rears on a V6 sounds like arse.

    CANT START VR!! Ignition problem.

It sounds like a connection issue with the scan tool. What are you using?

    CANT START VR!! Ignition problem.

You shouldn't need a code. Found this: https://tech2wiki.com/content/technical_procedures/holden/security/keys.html

    Manta exhaust Drone

Absolutely 100% incorrect. He's either misinformed or flat out lying. Manta have their own manufacturing facility in Cunderdin, about 2 hours north of Perth. The only thing that can be remotely related is the fact that Manta (or rather DPI Performance) are also the distributor for X Force here...

    CANT START VR!! Ignition problem.

Will it start with aerostart or similar sprayed into the throttle body?

    CANT START VR!! Ignition problem.

Check the slip ring on the ignition barrel, make sure it has good contact with the key.

    Manta exhaust Drone

If the exhaust was made properly and fitted properly then the brace shouldn't need to be modified or adapted.

    Manta exhaust Drone

It's very unusual for the Manta rears to cause drone. I couldn't tell you how many I have fitted and never had bad droning like you describe. Could be faulty manufacturing. Even then that's rare for Manta. You really need to find a brace and fit it. It's structural for the car, if you have a...

    Manta exhaust Drone

The centre brace is factory Holden. It needs to be there. Did you fit it or did a shop? This one.
  14. Not_An_Abba_Fan

    Manta exhaust Drone

Also, check that the exhaust is not resting on the chassis brace. The Manta 3" can sit lower if not fitted correctly and will rest on that brace causing a horrible noise in the car as well. Some places put spacers in, but if you push the rear of the headers up as high as they can go when...

    Manta exhaust Drone

Some OTR's can change the exhaust note horribly. One way I check to see if the OTR affects drone is to pull the air filter out and see if the note changes. Some will, some won't. A lap around the block will tell you if it affects it or not. And to confirm, the centre section definitely looks...

Passenger HID doesn't always turn on

Make sure all the connections and earths are good. Had the same thing in my Range Rover. If the ballast doesn't get good power it won't fire the globe.

    Manta exhaust Drone

Couple of questions, is it auto or manual? Is it cammed? Do you have an OTR fitted?

    2.25 Inch catback exhaust system

Best system I have ever heard on the new Mustangs is a twin 3" MagnaFlow. Fitted a couple and they are really deep on idle but sound awesome under acceleration.

    VS rough idle

The injectors may be dirty and not closing properly, once the O2 sensors go closed loop the ECU may lean it out a bit so the idle clears up.

    VS rough idle

Could be a number of things. Have you tried a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank?

The problem is also cost. It's cheaper to spend 2 weeks in Bali than it is to fly to Broome from Perth.

    VT V6 Oil question

20W50 is fine in your engine. I'd be looking at the underneath of the car to see if there is any oil, if it is leaking, it may only leak while driving and not while sitting, but then some oil on the car would still drip off. You are checking the oil when cold and on flat ground?

VY Ecotech engine to VT Auto transmission issue

I'd try swapping starter motors first. VN-VY are all the same.

    VY S2 Strut stud size

Because they are separate from the existing bolts. You only use the location of one of the existing bolts to line the plate up, it just sits over he whole thing.

VY Ecotech engine to VT Auto transmission issue

The flexplate is balanced, the torque converter is balanced, they are never balanced together. If the torque converter stayed on the transmission then it is already lined up and sitting in the pump. If you used the flexplate and torque converter off the VY engine, then did you make sure the...

    SV6 OTR & Tune Issues

A 3.6L V6 will never outflow the factory cats. There are only 3 cylinders going through each cat. Sounds more like a miss and unburnt fuel is getting past the rings into the sump.
  30. Not_An_Abba_Fan

    VY S2 Strut stud size

You don't use the existing bolts, you need to drill new holes and use the bolts supplied. You also don't have to completely drop the suspension, only jack the car up enough so the struts lower enough to get you your hands in there.

    Missing Extractor Bolts

Might have to clarify the car and engine. We are in VN-VP, his ride is a VT. Is the engine V6 or V8?

    Diff/Axle/Brake gurus, I need advice!

Are you using disc brake bearings or drum? They are different. The disc bearing has a little spacer ring.

They should be M8 x 1.5 if they are Pacemaker. It's a ball type fitting with loose flanges that rotate around the pipe?

    Wireless Cameras

Rather than multi quoting I'll answer in order of posts. R_J_K They are paired from factory. Uniden have a small touch screen module that is also wireless, but plugs into a dock to charge. The network set up is performed via a menu on the touch screen. The screen has gone black and I can no...

Do you guys actually understand how a mask works in preventing transmission. Doesn't matter how clean they are. I saw an analogy a while ago, could have even been in the pic of the day thread on mask wearing. I guy pissed on another guys leg, he got piss on his leg. Then the guy that got...

    Wireless Cameras

That's my issue, they are paired, but I have read also that once you can identify the IP address of the cameras, it would be easy to find and view them on a network.
